RATTMMOTOR CNC Spindle Motor Kit, To start with the Water-cooled Spindle Motor, it has a material of stainless steel, and grease is used for bearing lubrication. There are 3 bearings and the main application of the machine is usually woos, glass and PVC Industry. The speed of the spindle is 0-24000rpm and cannot be lower than 9000 rpm. Plus the direction of the spindle is only clockwise. As for 2.2KW 220V VFD Inventer; It has PID control; advanced calculus PID closed-loop arithmetic, very fast response and high suitability. With super strong anti-jamming capability its PLC function can realize 16 legs of speed and inverter control function. What is more, it has several control technique which is done by both synchronization and non-synchronization.

The spindle connector’s interface has 4 categories; 1, 2, 3, 4. And the Inventer’s interface: U, V, W. For the setup, do the following wiring; 1=U  2=V  3=W  4=No wiring required.

The package also includes 80W 220V Water Pump with conversion plug from European standard to American standard. The details are as follows;

As for the 80mm Spindle Motor Mount, its material is cast aluminum and a dimeter of 80mm.  14pcs ER20 Collets is first class 1065 carbon steel with the ranges of size of 3.175mm,1mm, 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 7mm, 8mm, 9mm, 10mm, 11mm, 12mm, 13mm. Outer dimeter is 11.5mm, hole diameter is 1-13mm, Height is 18mm and run-out tolerance is 0.1mm.

Q: Can this mill steel?

A: Sorry, it can’t.

Q: If this is a 3 phase motor why can it not be reversed?

A: Not sure about that but I think it can be controlled thru mach3 settings to reverse the direction
