The machine can carve wood, plastic, acrylic, PCB CCL, soft metal like copper and aluminum and other materials, but can not carve hard metal, jade and other very hard texture of the items.

How to install ER11?
1. ER11 has a so-called press fit. This hole is 5 hundredths of a millimeter smaller than the spindle.
2. It is necessary to heat ER11 and place a spindle in a refrigerator then it fits on a spindle, after cooling it is inseparably connected with a spindle.

Question: Have an issue with the z and x axis both are reversed.
Answer: Stepper motor direction can be reversed by reversing the connections to one of the drive coils. Swap the connections to either the left hand two pins on the connector or the right hand two pins on the connector but not both. If you swap both you do not change direction. To clarify, the arrows on the manual control consul show the direction the tool will move relative to a point on the material being routed.
Question: I use a 3D printer with windows 10. Has anyone tried to use windows 10?. Can this machine cut out accurate parts for assembling into say a box?
Answer: It works fine with Windows 10. It is as accurate as your design. PCB can be done without any issues with accuracy.
Question: Does anyone know if this can engrave stainless steel and zinc?
Answer: You can replace the supplied chuck with a 5mm ER11 collet chuck/collets which will give you more flexibility with the range of bits that can be used. However, much will depend on the cutting tools and set-up that you use. You will certainly have to limit depths and feed rates to correspond with the material/cutting tool.
Question: What is the pitch of the leadscrews and how many steps per revolution of the stepper motors so that I can calibrate my design software
Answer: Following settings are appropriate;
- $100=400.000 (x, step/mm)
- $101=400.000 (y, step/mm)
- $102=400.000 (z, step/mm)
